South Shields face their first away game in Vanarama National League North when they travel to Boston United on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
The Mariners began life in tier six with an energetic 3-1 win over Alfreton Town, and now have a double-header of away fixtures against Boston and Farsley Celtic.
