South Shields have announced the signing of Welsh defender, Iestyn Hughes for the remainder of the season, subject to FA approval.
Hughes (22) joins the Mariners after spending his youth career at Manchester United and Leicester City.

After a number of years with the Mariners, academy graduate Sam Hodgson departs to take on a new challenge with Blyth Spartans.
Sam Hodgson (23) made his way through the ranks here at South Shields FC, making over 50 appearances for the Mariners since his senior debut back in October 2019.
