A place in the final qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup is at stake when South Shields take on Marske United at 1st Cloud Arena on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
Both sides were without a fixture in midweek after their Pitching In Northern Premier League meeting was postponed due to damage to the floodlights at Marske’s Mount Pleasant.

South Shields have been handed an exciting away tie against AFC Liverpool in the third qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup.
The young Mariners have scored 19 goals in their three matches in the competition so far, beating Whitley Bay 8-0, Billingham Town 4-1 and Gateshead 7-1.

The Durham Challenge Cup first round tie between South Shields and Washington will take place on Tuesday, October 11th.
The match will be a 7.30pm kick-off at 1st Cloud Arena and admission prices are £5 for adults, £3 for over-65s and students, and £2 for under-16s. This will be entirely pay at the turnstiles, with no tickets available in advance.
As a result of the arrangement of this fixture, the previously scheduled Pitching In Northern Premier League match between the Mariners and Bamber Bridge has been postponed. A new date will be confirmed in due course.

South Shields Women travel to West Allotment Celtic on Sunday as they begin their involvement in this season’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
