Martin Smith’s late stunner earned South Shields a well-fought draw with Gainsborough Trinity on Tuesday as the hosts extended their unbeaten start to the season.
Smith, who found the net from some distance deep into stoppage time, cancelled out a second half Hayden Cann strike as the game ended 1-1.
