Saturday’s Vanarama National League North fixture between Bishop’s Stortford and South Shields has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The playing surface at The RDA Stadium was inspected by a referee on Friday lunchtime, and in light of its current condition and the freezing temperatures forecast overnight, the game has been called off.

South Shields fell to a 1-0 defeat against Chester in Vanarama National League North to lose their unbeaten home record.
The scoring was opened in the 39th minute as Liam Edwards tapped in to give the visitors the lead.

South Shields maintained their unbeaten home record in Vanarama National League North with a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Curzon Ashton.
Curzon Ashton created the better opportunities in the first half but were unable to break the deadlock, and the second half saw much of the same pattern as the Nash were unable to beat Myles Boney in the Shields goal.
