Saturday’s Pitching In Northern Premier League fixture away to FC United of Manchester has been postponed following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Football Association has confirmed that all National League System, FA Trophy and grassroots football matches scheduled for this weekend will not take place as a mark of respect.

Mackenzie Heaney scored a stunning stoppage time winner as South Shields beat Guiseley 2-1 in dramatic fashion to move to the top of the Pitching In Northern Premier League table on Tuesday.

South Shields came from behind in dramatic fashion against Workington, as a late brace from Michael Woods saw the Mariners through to the Emirates FA Cup second qualifying round.
Woods’ brace, as well as a magnificent solo effort from Martin Smith won the game for the Mariners, who were behind with three minutes to go.
