The Northern Premier League’s clubs were pulled out of the hat at lunchtime at Wembley, Radcliffe versus Stalybridge Celtic the first to emerge from the famous velvet bag as 116 ties were scheduled in the 138th running of the Emirates FA Cup.
The first round qualifying is scheduled to take place over the weekend of Saturday 8 September with winning clubs set to bank £6,000 from the FA prize, double last season’s prize money, after those who came through the weekend’s preliminary round ties collected £2,890.
A total of 44 EVO-STIK League clubs, including the 13 preparing to go again in replays next week – or in Leek Town’s case play in their delayed preliminary round tie – went into the draw.
